I passed my Practicals

Yay So Sunday I sat my practical exam for manicure and pedicure. To get a phone call later that evening to say I had passed was so relieving.
Just the theory to go now...:(

I Got Published

I was so shocked when I received this months issue of Nailpro magazine. I was slowing flicking through the pages as usual when I came to the contents page. I looked at the readers nail art preview and saw what looked very like one of my manicures. I was like " wow that looks very like one I've done". So i anxiously flicked to page 82 and there to my absolute surprise and delight was my manicure published. To see my name and address in print. It was amazing and made it all feel so worth while. Thanks to all my fans on here and Facebook for supporting me and inspiring me to do more.

My Attempt at Acrylics.....

So I finally did Acrylic. Wow its harder than it looks. It took me an hour and a half to do 5 nails. But thats where the saying came from, "practice makes perfect" lol :). 

Need to practice my whites and smile lines and I think it falls into place from there. 

More to come when I'm finished my Mani/Pedi exams which will be here very soon.
